AC/DC Coming To New Zealand… In 2010

October 20, 2008

Stuff.co.nz reports that AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has confirmed the band will be coming to New Zealand as part of its "Black Ice" world tour. However, the dates probably won't happen until early 2010, according to a SonyBMG spokesperson.

Johnson told TVNZ current affairs show "Close Up" the band was looking forward to the tour, despite an five-year break since their last live show.

"As long as you've still that passion to go out and you don't have to use Viagra, I think we'll be happening," he said. "I've been working out, trying hard to get myself ready. I don't want to get on there and people to look up and go 'You should have seen him 10 years ago.'"
